'Merican Seoul

Sometimes 'Merica ventures out into the world. For this trip he headed to Korea.

What better place to express one's 'Merican-ness than at a baseball game--the quintessential American game--cheering on an American pitcher: Ben Jukich. Ben plays for the LG Twins in Seoul. Sadly, a few pitches after I took this picture, Ben gave up 3 runs and got pulled...Ben may have felt the 'Merican energy in the stadium and got a little nervous, you know, performance anxiety. 'Merica may bring too much patriotism for pitchers. Sorry Ben.

What 'Merica loved about Korean baseball is the cheering. Every player has his own song that the fans sing or chant as he's at bat. The stadium rocks with a rhythmic energy of support.

This was a great Korean 'Merican experience. Do it.
